GameRecord Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gamerecord (the "Service"), operated by the GameRecord Team ("gamerecord," "we," "us," "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You keep ownership of content you submit (such as reviews, comments, lists, tier lists, usernames, biographies, and profile text/images), but you grant gamerecord a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload your content and that it does not violate law, these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or third-party rights.

Users may report abusive or policy-violating content/accounts by using the in-app report buttons available on reviews, comments, lists, tier lists, and profiles.

10. Third-Party Services and Data Sources

The Service relies on third-party providers and data sources. For example, we use Google Firebase / Google Cloud services for authentication, database hosting, cloud functions, and notifications, and we may use external game metadata providers.

Availability, completeness, and accuracy of third-party data are not guaranteed.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service (excluding user content and third-party content) is owned by gamerecord and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, or exploit our software, branding, or content except as permitted by law or with written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, gamerecord is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless gamerecord, its team, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law.

We may add, remove, suspend, or change features or other parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated in-app, by email, or by other reasonable means. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
