GameRecord — Account Deletion

If you would like to delete your GameRecord account and all associated data, you can do so directly within the app.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open the GameRecord app.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Tap Account Settings.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted.

Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted once the request is processed. There is no grace period or self-service restoration after deletion is completed.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account and identity data (user ID, email, username, display name)
  • Profile data (photo, banner, biography)
  • Game activity (statuses, ratings, reviews, comments)
  • Custom lists, playlists, and tier lists
  • Social connections (followers, following, blocked users)
  • Notification preferences and push tokens
  • Content preferences and language settings

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for legal, safety, and operational reasons:

  • System backups may retain limited data fragments for up to 90 days before automatic overwrite.
  • Moderation logs and reports (if applicable to your account) are retained for 1 year for safety and legal compliance.

No retained data is used for any purpose other than legal compliance and safety obligations.
